Next Mountain Base Camp · In session
No one summits without base camp.
One 90-minute session a month where founders and executives get clear on what changed in AI, and what to do about it on Monday. Members bring the work they built, and the room takes on one hard question together. $200/month — or $100/month for your first year while founding seats last.
Last Thursday of every month · 11am ET · 90 min · Live on Zoom.
New here? Start with the free Readiness Assessment or the weekly Compass.
Every session starts with something specific to react to. One recent session opened with three statements and one instruction: tell us which of these is you.
“I want to lead in this, but it’s moving so fast it’s impossible to keep up.”
“God is not surprised by AI.”
“The genie is out of the bottle, and she’s running with no guidelines or guardrails.”
What a session looks like.
The Opening
One question, and every person in the room answers it. In a recent session, all thirteen did.
The Demos
Members show what they actually built. Not slideware — the thing they used last week, and what it took to learn it.
The Hard Question
One question with no clean answer, worked on together. One recent session landed on this: what do you owe an employee whose job AI eliminates?
Includes the weekly written Base Camp Briefing — the same intelligence, in your inbox every week.
Sessions are recorded for our notes. What is said here about your company and your people stays in this room.
What came out of a recent session.
One member brought a live bid: 2,000 sites across Westchester County. Pulling apart the plans and specs had always been a week of someone's time. With AI it took twenty minutes, every location mapped.
Then the room spent thirty minutes on the harder thing. A coach who spent years in ministry before working inside an AI company put it as a question: is this helping me become a better human? That one the room keeps working on, together.
The question underneath the tools.
“Can we?” is a capability question. The answer trends toward yes a little more every week.
“Should we?” is a formation question, and it gets harder exactly as the first one gets easier.
People are worth more than what they produce. And yet every leader in that room felt the same pull. Steward your people and you give up efficiency AI could deliver. Optimize performance and you spend people to get it.
That tension is what Base Camp is for.
Who’s leading the room.
Two coaches who have spent their careers helping leaders make hard calls — now focused on the one AI is forcing.

You should walk out of your first session able to say something most leaders can’t: you’ve read about AI for months — and now you know exactly what to do on Monday morning.
